Research Associate International Phd


International Phd the postholder will join the Huntington's Disease (HD) research group currently involved in a range of multi-national multi-site longitudinal imaging projects of HD under the overall direction of Professor Sarah Tabrizi. In particular, the postholder will be involved in the setup of image analysis for a new EU-funded project investigating a novel therapeutic with potential disease-modifying properties. This International Phd is an exciting opportunity to advance image analysis methodology within a rapidly-growing multidisciplinary group conducting research into HD.

International Phd applicants are required to hold, or be close to obtaining, a PhD in Image Analysis, Medical Physics or other relevant discipline. Computational and image analysis skills are essential, as is knowledge and experience of diffusion tensor imaging. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic scientist to join a research team which has an international reputation in HD research.

The International Phd post is available immediately and is funded through an EU FP7 consortium grant for one year in the first instance for one year in the first instance.

Starting salary on UCL Grade 7 in the range £31,905 - £35,557 pa including London Allowance, superannuable.
